Sometimes life has so much drama, I need an easy, no angst read. Reading Trust Me was like sitting down to watch my favorite sitcom and enjoying the plot unfold. It’s nice to get a quick glimpse in the every day events of Kyle and seeing her growing relationship with Misha and Jean Luc.The draw back to this book is that is ended too soon. Some may say that there isn’t enough conflict. This book isn’t the big, mystery thriller like Mind Sweeper, but it has the essence and style that I love about Mind Sweeper in a quick read.

I cannot get enough of the Mind Sweeper Series. I am thrilled the author is putting out little novellas providing a more detailed background. I freely volunteered to review this and would do so again with any Mind Sweeper book. YA is **not** my preference or choice, but if you want to get caught up in another world, this is it! Thank you AE Jones for gracing me with an ARC. I am here, pick me, pick me for any and all Mind Sweepers!
Once I get hooked into a series, I love opportunities to spend more time with the characters. It is great to have this second prequel to the series which gives you more insight into the characters and how their relationship became so strong. There is a really great message about what family really should mean. If you are a fan of the series, you definitely should check out these short prequels.

I have fallen in love with Kyle, Misha and Jean Luc. I truly can not get enough of the antics that Misha pulls when it comes to food. The brotherly love that Misha and Jean Luc are shown right from the beginning as they are extremely protective of Kyle. YA is usually not my go to genre of choice but with the paranormal aspect of this series I was sucked into the world the author built. I can not wait to read the rest of the series, but that must wait as real life dictates when books can be bought. I received a free copy of this book and volunteered to review it.

Trust Me starts off about a year after the first prequel Forget Me. The usual suspects are present Kyle, Misha and Jean Luc along with a few new demons, vampires and other creepy crawlies. There’s a vampire mafia in Cleveland and they are shaking down the supernatural community. Kyle and her team are called in to stop them. The story is also about new beginnings, friendship and trust.
A.E. Jones does what she does best. The story is a fun, witty and a short read. Great for a lazy afternoon read. Trust me…you won’t be sorry.
Another great short in the Mind Sweeper series! It was great seeing the growth in the relationship between Kyle, Jean Luc and Misha. I can't wait to read the nest book!
She finally feels like she's going to fit in. She has people who care for her like a family, new place to live. And maybe using her gift to really do some good.
This series continues to be my favorite paranormal reading. By writing these little vignettes that take place before Mind Sweeper, we get to see how the outcast Kyle McKinley became a vital cog in controlling the somewhat scary supernatural underbelly of Cleveland. Musing on her childhood at the end of this story, she realizes she doesn't need to be related to have family in her life. That's a great message, whether you sport fangs or not.
