My aunt wrote and illustrated this book, it provides a brief glimpse into growing up in rural America during the depression. It tells some of the story of her childhood and wanting to be an artist. She eventually did become a professional artist and she did this book for her great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She wanted them to have some of the stories of a lost time In America. This would be a good short read for any upper elementary age students, a good classroom resource for teachers too.Product details

A nice introduction for children to learn how to enjoy drawing and painting, with practical tips to get them off to a good start.
